Following the birth of the UK’s Junior Rankings sytem, Erawan Thai Boxing is delighted to have its only 4 Junior fighters all ranked at top positions. Jordan Williams 17 yrs takes No 1 position, Anya Carter 9 yrs comes in at No 2, James Setchell 16yrs and James Hughes 11 yrs also both take the No 1 spot all in their respective categories. Trainer Steven Wright said “Im delighted with the positions these guys have taken, its speaks volumes about their commitment to learn. Couple this with some of the talented adult fighters we have and the many Juniors who are currently at Interclub level, the future looks good for Erawan Thai Boxing with a good range of fighters”. If we can learn anything from this I would say – especially to the lesser experienced juniors, sticking in and really trying will get you far – you have got to WANT to do it.
